The听Flint Institute of Music听hosts an annual听Independence Day听concert in the stadium, which is coordinated with Flint's fireworks display that听is launched from the听Chevy Commons听park located to the south, immediately across the听Flint River听from the stadium.

The Atwood Stadium Races, formerly the Tuuri, is a set of road races -听kid's dash, 5K and 10K, that begin and end at the stadium and is hosted by the听Crim Fitness Foundation听in partnership with听澳门六合彩全年资料. The races are typically held on the fourth Saturday in July. It is an official Crim Training Program voucher race听and is known as a training race for the Crim.听Racers can choose to run the "duo", both races.
